Dear WHOMers,
I just realized I never officially announced my book publication on this list! The Modern Period: Menstruation in Twentieth-Century America is now out, from Johns Hopkins. You can find details on my website: www.themodernperiod.com.
I’m somewhat behind on publicity because the book came out the month before I moved with my family to New Jersey. I am now living in Chatham, New Jersey, working on my next book as an independent scholar. I would be happy to hear from anyone who is in the area. I have received warm welcome from many of you at the colleges and universities around here, which I much appeciate, and by next semester I should have my childcare organized enough to begin attending some colloquia and working groups.
