Grand Valley State University Visiting Assistant Professorships, 2014-2015 European, World and Medieval History

The Department of History at Grand Valley State University invites applications for full-time Visiting (non-tenure-track) appointments for the 2014-2015 academic year, with the possibility for renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor (or at the rank of Visiting Instructor if ABD). The teaching load of four courses per semester will include surveys in European, World and Medieval History. Grand Valley State University is an affirmative action and equal opportunity institution. The Department of History at Grand Valley State University invites applications for full-time Visiting (non-tenure-track) appointments for the 2014-2015 academic year, with the possibility for renewal, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor (or at the rank of Visiting Instructor if ABD). The teaching load of four courses per semester will include surveys in World History and/or American History. Depending on the candidate’s areas of expertise, course assignments could also include one or more of the following courses: History of Science and Research Methods in History.
